So many amazing projects in 2022:) Custom Transom with some amazing colours and natural stones. Inspired by clients' creativity:) Glassworks Studio CANADA

I hope all is well where you are.  Here is Ontario I feel like spring is around the corner.  The birds are back and the snow drops are flowering.  I need to post more here, as I love the conversations.  So here we are on this Saturday morning and am happy to share this project with you. It is unlike any other I have done. So many colours, some subtleties, a wood frame created from wood trim with a past.  Natural stones (although not many... definitely are a focal piece, and True Art Glass used throughout that soothes my soul.

Here are a few photos of this beauty. I hope you enjoy and feel inspired.

Adding Design and Privacy to a stairway window in South Mississauga

This window located on the south elevation is beautifully lit almost the entire day. I chose to use predominantly drawn antiques for this project from a historic palette.

Jewels and some custom bevel work adds to the bling. This window shimmers in the sunlight. Its personality changing as the sun shifts.

We are back to this location in 2020 to complete a spectacular front entrance.  Details to come.

Completion of a Grand Entrance! Glassworks Studio Toronto

This week we completed the 2nd phase of this beautiful project we are proud to be part of.  The last section to go in was the third level of the leaded glass entry and as you can see we have no issues with heights.

These panels are pure in design flare.  Simplicity at its finest...demonstrating that sometimes the absolute strongest statement is understated. Glass selection was bevels, bevels and more bevels and the background is of course GNA.

Glassworks Studio is a custom design /build stained and leaded glass studio working in the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in functional art glass for residential applications.

Spring is here...time for a change...sidelites..and a few leaded windows...

I began this week cleaning the studio...organizing the tools.. taking inventory...and moving glass into the new glass racks in the back space... The beveller arrived all fixed up.. and so we start...

The first of the family crests is off to a great start with all of the leaf work cut and foiled now...other sections are with my sandblaster having the names blasted into the cathedral glass so I can back paint them...

Our exciting contemporary project in Oakville has had another adjustment as the sidelites have gone from 76" to 92" in height ..so full scale layout is now complete...and ready to build...

And multiple cabinet inserts have been completed and delivered to their new home..  There just is not enough time in the day...and the days fly by... I cannot believe tomorrow is already Friday again.

Here are a some pictures.. have a great weekend!
