Absolutely beautiful & functional. Our latest privacy panel.

OK I know that we are a little biased...Here is the next project to leave the studio this week...A privacy panel for clients in Oakville...Now this is a little different ..it is almost a landscape...or should I  say "waterscape"  Amazing glass for the water is Kokomo Blue Green in Clear Streaky.(One of my favorite...)  This is a great demonstration of glass transformed.  This is the same glass we used in the St Michael Hospital panel in Toronto...One project was a leaded contemporary..and this one is a copperfoiled waterscape...Awesome!

In this project we used most manufactures that are readily available..Spectrum Glass Company for the sky, Bullseye Glass in Cranberry for the flowers, Paul Wissmach Glass for some plants, Uroboros for plants and even some Yogy...

Amanda has been working away on this panel..truely another labor of love...

Relaxing before 2013 craziness starts....

Ok...We are feeling a litttle stressed at the studio but we are still smiling...I am trying to relax before 2013....because as crazy as this sounds ...2013 is already pretty booked...  Our 2013 is actually starting early as we have 99 windows and 13 doorlites to compete for our Thornhill Project before February 1.. Exciting.. ")

We  also have  6 ceiling lenses for another Mississauga Project by mid December..It is funny we have worked on three different sites over the past year on the same street.  Have to say this is a first.  "Glassworks Studio..we are everywhere..."  LOL

..I love it... the excitement and the promises...Back from holidays and I just want to get going!!

Here are some pics  of 2nd street Oakville..Obviously Rennie Inspired..Have a great weekend!

Timeless and Elegant Leaded Glass Door lites installed in South Mississauga, Glassworks Studio Toronto.

Here is another example of how leaded glass (when designed and built site specific) can complete the "WOW" factor of any space.

This entry installed by Kolbe Window Gallery is complimented by the Custom Leaded Thermals installed by Glassworks Studio.  I enjoy working with many businesses and trades who pride themselves in absolute client satisfaction...I love being part of such an accomplished group and seeing the results of our work.

I love the clarity of the glass selected for this project and how the custom bevel work simply sparkles.  Timeless and Elegant!

A little stained glass artwork at the studio today..

From little tiny concept drawing to full scale layout...We are definitely loving what we do lately...This feels like the calm before the craziness starts...  This project can be summerized by color, color, color....Just wait till you see the finished panel.

Really cool convex artsy mirrors, and trying to stay ahead of the rush...

This week has had some of the most "manic days" that I can remember since moving into the new studio space on Northwest Drive.  Maybe this is because we are already preparing to move again...to a bigger space.....maybe it is the beautiful upcoming projects that we are SO excited about...

Well today Amanda rebuilt the disaster that resulted after our beautiful leaded inserts were enroute to Montreal....FIXED Yeah!  She also started (what will probably be a portfolio of pictures of what we do...everyday..the traditional tools we use...the beautiful glass panels we build...AND the glass we even break..(Secret is we LOVE to break and smash ...love the sound..."yes..we know we have a problem..."

She also finished up the doves on the 50 fused pieces...While I circled the GTA seeing clients and suppliers...

Today started the silver process on some cast convex glass pieces that will soon be mirrors....resembling blown glass but produced in the kiln... These will be a triptych grouping of mirrors for our client in Oakville. Pics to follow in the next few weeks...Always something new..

Here is Amanda's first "artsy" studio shot....
