Today in studio...Continuation of Transom window.... Beautiful! Glassworks Studio CANADA

Today the transom is being finished...well finished in terms of the assembly....tomorrow she will be cleaned and polished...Wednesday the sidelites and this beauty will will leave too be sealed in thermal units....  Here is a great photo Amanda took to show the "flow" of the Baroque background glass.. have to say...makes me smile..

Exact glass cutting and amazing glass selection.  Every piece of background glass is a continuation of the one prior... This is flow...   kudos to the photographer for also capturing the RED Glass from the studio door.

Glass...  Glass.. Glass all around us!  Inspiring.. Here is the pic..

A little bling and some RED for these "Gothic Arches." Glassworks Studio Toronto

These windows were a challenge from a design point of view... but we admit sometimes it the most simple and elegant designs that take the most time...  but totally worth it...These windows are stunning!

Here are the final four windows off to their home....These windows 2 by 2 flank a central fireplace...Very Nice..   Privacy not a big issue because of the height they are located at and the outside landscape.  Beautiful.. elegant, and of course some bling...

First 2014 Project on the tables and she is large...

Ok..although we are still working on quite a few projects that need to be wrapped up before Christmas this year ...we are very excited about this project due in the first week of January 2014..  Total window space is over 72" wide and 96" tall, but split into 6 compartments...  High obscurity with a lot of bling...just my style...  Love it.  Here is the initial concept sketch.. and although there will be plenty of changes I know she is going to be amazing.

Glassworks Studio, Artwork for Second Street Project, 2012
Well here it is...I finally had a moment today to go and look at one of our sites that was actually finished up before Christmas....and I have been so excited to see it...AND it did not disappoint.  This door lite inspired by ancestral roots it a beauty.  German New Antique background, some of the blue ovals were kiln fired to curve them, and German Cathedral....Absolutely love this door lite.  Nothing like  "art" featured where you see it the most.... here is the site picture from this morning!

Timeless and Elegant Leaded Glass Door lites installed in South Mississauga, Glassworks Studio Toronto.

Here is another example of how leaded glass (when designed and built site specific) can complete the "WOW" factor of any space.

This entry installed by Kolbe Window Gallery is complimented by the Custom Leaded Thermals installed by Glassworks Studio.  I enjoy working with many businesses and trades who pride themselves in absolute client satisfaction...I love being part of such an accomplished group and seeing the results of our work.

I love the clarity of the glass selected for this project and how the custom bevel work simply sparkles.  Timeless and Elegant!

Another Custom Leaded Transom...Glassworks Studio Toronto

This week was CRAZY...I thought I would be driving to Montreal to deliver panels for our New York Project this weekend...I know the wrong direction but that is where the Canadian Builder is located..you could say we had a little breakage in shipping Tuesday...Glass Breakage and Heart Break.  Amanda worked so hard on the "rush rebuild." I ran around with meetings and proposals for upcoming projects...picking up freshly "kilned" glass..all while negotiating Toronto traffic and crazy construction...

So I must thank Maritime Ontario Transport for their speedy pick up of my glass crate and immediate shipment to Montreal today...very impressive..and Thank you to everyone at ECO ...for helping us in our time of stress..

The week ended with a great feeling... I appreciate the great relationships  built with suppliers and clients...and when I needed some help it was there.

The last item of the day was the pick up of the Bolton Transom.  This was the first time out client had seen the finished product and she loved it....which just makes us love what we do even more.

Have a great Thanksgiving Weekend. Instead of Montreal I will be enjoying my father's Thanksgiving Feast...  :)

Look at the colors in this transom...Beautiful...next will be the sidelites..

Leaded Glass Transom for Bolton Project

Color...lots of color....that besides amazing design just makes this project sparkle...oh AND we added some facetted jewels..

Anyway here is another example of what we love to do.. this project started off as landscape with ducks in flight..then transitioned into a landscape focusing on the waterfall that is on the property...

Then a complete 180 happened....this just shows that we do not always know what we are looking for ..but then it just evolves and becomes.....  WOW that was deep... All from a piece of glass..

I think I need some sleep....
Have a great night!
