And an exterior pic...of the leaded casements and transoms!

OK...We know that leaded glass looks amazing from the inside of your home....AND I am of the opinion that "our opinions" are the most important (Anyone who knows me ...is probably changing the  "our" to "HER"..haha...funny funny...

Well here is a picture of my lastest installation and proof positive that as "GREAT" as decorative glass looks from inside your space....WOW it looks amazing from outside too!

The beginnings of a flat panel skylight in Mississauga...

Someone asked me this week what is the best thing about what I do???? Working for myself....doing what I love..the great trades I work with...the amazing clients I work for that inspire me daily....There are so many things I do not know where to begin or stop...All I do is smile..."most days..."

Coming up are more great projects..a very linear interior doorlite in a Circa build....a meeting with the historic board for another build in Oakville, and a flat panel skylite to wrap our heads around....AWESOME...I love the familiarity of the flat panels that I considered my studios specialty...but I am so excited about venturing into something new....The next few months should be very exciting....PLUS a new studio space....AGAIN....I know!  Glassworks Studio is growing again....and I cannot wait.

Here are the pics...enjoy and have a great night!

Leaded Kitchen Inserts off to site...

Today we delivered a large number of leaded inserts to one of the great cabinet makers I enjoy working with...Top Notch Cabinetry in Oakville...18 in total....Yesterday we delivered to another cabinet maker in Mississauga..I guess it has been a week of work for the love of kitchens.

Tomorrow I am on a site tour in Oakville..a "social meeting" I would call it...I love these meetings....on this site we sandblasted a pantry door lite.. LOOK at the doorlite detail...this relief was taken off a napkin that the client provided to us...Have to say love it...and totally one of a kind...This technique is referred to as stage sandblasting...sandblasting is done to different depths into the tempered glass to achieve the detail ....AMAZING AGAIN!

Enjoy and let me know what you think...

Leaded Glass Transom...almost "zen-like...."

Glass constantly amazes me...I work on designs and /or builds everyday...and yet I am always inspired...constantly in love...with glass....

Take this panel....loved it from the word go...gentle curves..bevels and bling....GNA and German Cathedral...all my favorite things...and free artistic license too....  How I love what I do...  :)

What I have to be most thankful for are my amazing clients...how we cross paths I do not always know...word of mouth, website, referrals, other trades...It does not matter ... :)

Here are pictures of a transom panel we recently finished.....Belleville area...."Sandbanks.."
"Inspiring....
